Stephen Woodbridge

for Peterborough Bretton North

Stephen was born in London and lives in Peterborough. A socialist his entire adult life, Stephen worked at the Perkins diesel engines plant (now a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc.) for 35 years until 2009.
Now a part-time bus driver, he writes for the World Socialist Web Site on the impact of the capitalist crisis.

Danny Dickinson

for St Helens Town Centre

Danny was born in Liverpool and lives in St Helens. A socialist his entire adult life, he has worked as a seaman, car and rail worker, and for the Pilkingtons group that once dominated St Helens.
Now retired, Danny is a contributor for the World Socialist Web Site and writes regularly on the struggles of workers in Britain.
